The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Saturday, Dec. 3
Police worked an incident of endangering the welfare of a minor.

10:20 p.m.
Officers arrested a fleeing motorist following a brief pursuit on North 10th Street between Huddleston and Haddock streets, where the vehicle struck a light pole and stopped on the 1000 block of Haddock Street. Asked why she fled, the O’Connell Street woman replied she was in a hurry to get home after work.

Friday, Dec. 2
4:55 p.m.
Police arrested a shoplifter at Walmart.

9:25 p.m.
Officers arrested a pair of college students caught shoplifting at Walmart.

Friday, Dec. 2
Roderick A. Gulley, 29, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear and held for continued detention.

Saturday, Dec. 3
Kamal Upreti, 30, was arrested for public intoxication, no liability insurance and failure to control a vehicle.

Shereka Ward, 28, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for three counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Eddy Hernandez, 50, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for public intoxication.

James Salgado, 37, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for DWI.

Terrvonica L. Giles, 26, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for speeding, reckless driving, improper tags and fleeing.

Sunday, Dec. 4
Shalon Vaughn, 45, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.
