Friendship Missionary Baptist Church will hold A Night in Bethlehem, an annual outdoor Christmas experience, in December.

Visitors to this free event will experience Bethlehem the night Jesus was born with the taste, smells and sounds from 2,000 years ago. The “city” will come alive with shopkeepers, tax collectors, Roman soldiers, wise men, live animals and much more. You can even visit the stable where Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus are staying.

The free event will be held at 85 Church St. in Friendship. It is a walking tour, so visitors are encouraged to dress warm. The experience is Friday, Dec. 9, from 6-9 p.m., and again on Saturday, Dec. 10, from 5-9 p.m.
