The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Thursday, Nov. 3
1:42 p.m.
Police arrested a couple at Walmart for shoplifting.

3:44 p.m.
Officers responded to Powder Mill Apartments for a disturbance between two females. One was cited for criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.

5:03 p.m.
Officers responded to an unattended death at a Cypress Court residence.

10:11 p.m.
A 10th Street man reported a known suspect took documents from his home and drew on his walls.

Wednesday, Nov. 2
Officers responded to a false alarm involving a juvenile.

1:19 p.m.
Officers responded to a Lark Place residence for a physical altercation. The parties were separated, and no arrest was made.

4:35 p.m.
A man was arrested at Walmart for shoplifting.

6:47 p.m.
Officers investigated a burglary at a Main Street residence.

Police opened a report of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Tuesday, Nov. 1
8:30 a.m.
A Carter Road man reported losing his wallet in the area of North 26th Street.

Officers investigated a report of vehicle breaking or entering involving a juvenile.

9 p.m.
Police investigated a report of a fraudulent transaction involving the trade of a vehicle on Facebook Marketplace between an Arkadelphia resident and a Jonesboro suspect.

10:46 p.m.
Officers were summoned to a Welch Street location to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle, and cited a man for possession of marijuana after finding him smoking in the vehicle.

Officers investigated a report of sexual assault involving a juvenile.

Monday, Oct. 31
3:40 p.m.
Officers responded to a verbal altercation between a man and woman at a Duluth Street residence.

10 p.m.
A Gurdon man reported he was being harassed and blackmailed by a known female suspect.

Wednesday, Nov. 2
8 a.m.
A deputy arrested a man at Hobgood Road for public intoxication following a report of a person being passed out in a truck.

12:21 p.m.
The theft of a utility trailer was reported at a residence at the 5000 block of Highway 8 West.

7 p.m.
A deputy was summoned to a residence at the 5000 block of Highway 8 West for a dispute between neighbors regarding dogs roaming at large.

Arrests in Clark County

Monday, Oct. 31
Brandon Giles, 36, was arrested for a parole violation.

Randy Pickle, 57, was arrested for absconding.

Patrick Turner, 35, was held for a court appearance.

Kyler Sellers, no age listed, was arrested by Gurdon police for public intoxication and criminal mischief.

Tuesday, Nov. 1
Judy McKinnon, 49, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for theft.

Jimony Hughes, 45, was arrested for public intoxication.

James Biddle, 28, was arrested for a warrant.

Thursday, Nov. 3
Martha Ortiz, 29, was arrested for failure to comply with terms of probation.

Joann Hughes, 40, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention on a felony charge.

Chuves Harriss, 29, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for a warrant and speeding.
