The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, Oct. 11
12:41 a.m.
A North 25th Street couple reported being awakened by their bedroom window being broken.

4:18 p.m.
Officers responded to a child custody dispute in the yard of a residence at the 800 block of Crittenden Street.

4:33 p.m.
Officers conducted a welfare check at a residence at the 200 block of Main Street. Entry into the residence was forced considering the nature of the concern, but the resident was not home.

Monday, Oct. 10
8:08 a.m.
Officers were summoned to Two Rivers Federal Credit Union, 204 N. 10th St., for a report of damage to the building caused by a vehicle. A landscaping wall and a rain gutter on the south side of the building were damaged.

11:30 a.m.
A manager at Dunkin’ Donuts, 2708 Pine St., reported harassment by a previously terminated employee who made threatening comments on social media.

3:41 p.m.
An elderly woman reported she might have run over someone at Twin Rivers Drive.

7:13 p.m.
A Georgia man was arrested at Walmart for public intoxication following a complaint of an unruly person yelling at customers inside the store. He was informed he would be banned from the Arkadelphia Walmart as well as from Lucky Liquor after a similar complaint there.

7:37 p.m.
A Caddo Street woman reported her phone was missing, and officers were able to track it to a Logan Street residence, where an elderly black female answered the door. The complainant called off the search, but two hours later phoned police again, saying her phone had been stolen at Brookshire’s, likely by a white male behind her in line at the checkout.

Arrests in Clark County

Monday, Oct. 10
Bobby Campbell, 50, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention on a felony charge.

Charles Justin Gragdon, 44, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tuesday, Oct. 11
Johnathan Cogburn, 30, was held for continued detention on a felony charge.

Ashlyn Crockett, 24, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for DWI-second offense.

Wednesday, Oct. 12
Jonathon Petty, 33, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for DWI, speeding and refusal to submit.

Anand Singh, 46, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for speeding and held for extradition to an out-of-state agency.
