The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, Sept. 25
11:30 a.m.
The manager of a West Pine Street restaurant reported a resident had been putting their trash in the garbage bin.

Saturday, Sept. 24
A firearm was discovered on a roadway. Police sealed the case as a felony.

6:22 p.m.
A woman involved in a car accident on Highway 8 near B&M Storage was arrested for DWI.

Friday, Sept. 23
3:30 p.m.
Officers were summoned to Burger King, 2820 Pine St., where a customer hauling a whopper of a camper damaged the awning at the drive-through.

4:08 p.m.
A South 13th Street man reported someone threw a cinder block through his window while he was out of town. Nothing appeared to be stolen from the residence.

6:15 p.m.
Officers responded to a Buck Lane residence for a complaint of barking dogs. The suspect owners said they were being harassed and were advised of affidavit procedures.

7:21 p.m.
A woman reported being threatened by her boyfriend.

8 p.m.
An Alpine Road man reported a motorist ran into his fence on his property and became stuck.

Saturday, Sept. 24
8 p.m.
A deputy left the scene of a car accident on Highway 8 to handle a civil dispute at the 2000 block of Highway 51 North.

Friday, Sept. 23
3:30 p.m.
A Mt. Zion Road man reported someone drove into his driveway and struck his vehicle, causing damage.

11 p.m.
A deputy responded to a domestic disturbance and harassment at a South Lake Road residence.

5:49 p.m.
A Cates Road woman reported the theft of a deep fryer from her carport.

Arrests in Clark County

Thursday, Sept. 22
Kendall E. Buckley, 35, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for leaving the scene of an accident and driving with a suspended license.

Friday, Sept. 23
Cody Lynn Parker, 28, was arrested for failure to appear.

Colton Jeffery Pipkin, 28, was arrested for failure to comply with terms of probation.

Madena Danielle Morehead, 35, was held for drug court.

Saturday, Sept. 24
Brisa Yanae Lopez, 21, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for public intoxication.

Leigh Anne Holman, 33, was arrested by Gurdon police for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Jeffrey Lynn Simmons, 48, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for DWI, careless and prohibited driving and speeding.

Sunday, Sept. 25
Faburice Lamons Hendrix, 24, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for driving left of center, littering, failure to appear and speeding.
