The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, Sept. 20
5:40 a.m.
A C Street man reported the theft of four checkbooks, likely by a known female who had been at a recent guest at his house.
Officers took an information-only report involving a juvenile.
Police opened a felony case of second-degree battery. Information gathered at the county jail indicates an arrest was made.
Monday, Sept. 19
3:01 p.m.
An officer took a delayed report of an accident at a Caddo Street residence.
Sunday, Sept. 18
3:11 p.m.
Officers responded to Atwoods for a shoplifter who stole tools, including a chop saw. Police reviewed footage and were able to identify a Searcy couple based on their vehicle license plate number.

Monday, Sept. 19
Jarrod Joseph Harrington, 32, was arrested for failure to comply, third-degree domestic battery, theft of property and two counts of breaking or entering.
Elizabeth Carpenter, 32, was arrested for public intoxication.
Tuesday, Sept. 20
Joshua Pipkin, 33, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for felony domestic battery.
