Daniel Kent Turpen, 69, formerly of Fordyce, died Sunday, July 31, 2022, in Arkadelphia.
Kent was born April 8, 1953, in New Orleans and was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn E. and Alma H. Turpen; and by his sister, Karen Turpen Bailey.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Brenda Price Turpen, of Midland, Mich.; his children, Ellen Wehrman and husband Andy of Midland, Mich., Jack Turpen and wife Nichole of Fort Smith, Anna Hughes and husband Corbin of Overland Park, Kansas, and Molly Turpen of Fort Smith. He also leaves behind his grandsons Charles and Walter Wehrman of Midland, Mich.; granddaughter Penny Turpen of Fort Smith; and nephews Stephen, Anthony and Brandon Bailey.
There will be a private service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Stroke Association at stroke.org.
