Calvin Benjamin (C.B.) Wright, age 93, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Courtyard Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born May 31, 1929, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late John Larkin and Opal Kathrine Fortner Wright. CB was a master plumber, he worked for Clark County Lumber, Teague Plumbing and retired from Ouachita Baptist University. He was a member of Mt Zion Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was an ordained deacon on June 3, 1973. CB was a member of Civitan Club for many years. He enjoyed quail hunting, gardening, and playing with his grandsons in his free time. CB was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Melvia Wright, one sister, Helen Wright, and one brother, Ross Wright.

Survivors are two sons, Ricky Wright of Arkadelphia, David Wright (Rhonda) of Arkadelphia, two grandsons, Tyler Wright (Leah) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, and Dustin Wright (Courtney) of Arkadelphia, two sisters, Shirley Holland (Chuck) of Arkadelphia and Sue Thomas of Gurdon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Stanley and Randal Quillen officiating.

Visitation will be Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church or Beehive.
