The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Sunday, July 24

6:51 p.m.
A woman reported damage to her vehicle.

Saturday, July 23

11:09 p.m.
An officer responded to a report of an unlicensed beige sedan swerving into the opposite lane of traffic near W. P. Malone Drive and Country Club Road. The officer stopped the vehicle at Forrest Park Drive and North 26th Street and arrested a man for driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving left of center and an interlock device violation.

10:01 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic altercation on South 12th Street. The suspect left on foot before police arrived.

7:15 p.m.
A North 14th Street woman reported that a highly intoxicated man had fallen while exiting his vehicle at her residence and was bleeding from a head injury caused by the fall. An ambulance was dispatched and treated the man at the scene. The man refused further medical treatment and threatened ambulance staff with bodily harm. The man was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Friday, July 22

Officers responded to an aggravated assault involving a juvenile.

A Forrest Park Drive woman reported harassment by a neighbor.

1:19 a.m.
A traffic stop on West Miller Street in Gurdon resulted in an arrest for public intoxication.

12:48 p.m.
Deputies worked an accident on Layne Street in Okolona.

Friday, July 22

8:07 p.m.
Deputies responded to a report of domestic battery at a residence on Pine Street in Amity and arrested a man for domestic battery.

11:16 a.m.
A woman reported harassment involving a man repeatedly contacting her via Facebook Messenger.

Arrests

Friday, July 22

James Bradley Biddle, 28, was arrested and held for continued detention.

Charles E. Nelson, Jr., 42, was arrested for second-degree sexual assault.

Brandon Benjamin Howell, 35, was arrested for domestic battery.

Saturday, July 23

Yobani Eduardo Medina, 22, was arrested on a hold for another county.

James Roy McDaniel, 59, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for driving on a suspended driver’s license, driving left of center and an interlock device violation.

Melvin Ware, 66, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Sunday, July 24

Marco Gutierrez, 32, was arrested for public intoxication.

Monday, July 25

Charles Smith, 51, was arrested for second-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
