The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Monday, July 11

10:30 p.m.
Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a Clay Street residence.

3:25 a.m.
A vehicle fled an attempted traffic stop on Highway 67. The vehicle left the roadway, became airborne and struck a retaining wall. The driver fled the scene on foot.

Sunday, July 10

4 p.m.
Officers responded to a report of harassment at a Sylvia Street residence.

Tuesday, July 12

1 p.m.
A deputy responded to a report of theft of vehicle parts and other miscellaneous items on Reed Town Road.

Monday, July 11

5 p.m.
A local church reported the theft of the catalytic converter from a church van. Officers reviewed security footage and observed two white males driving a vehicle into the church parking lot around 4 a.m., crawling under the church van and removing the converter.

8 a.m.
A deputy responded to a report of a possible break-in at a residence on Highway 51 South. The complainant reported that he had been working in the house the evening before and returned the next morning to find the door kicked in and the door frame broken. Nothing appeared disturbed inside the residence. A neighbor reported hearing two loud bangs around 4 a.m.

Arrests

Monday, July 11

Bobby Kuhn, 33, was arrested for failure to appear in child support court.

Javion Sims, 18, was arrested by Arkadelphia police and held for continued detention.

Tuesday, July 12

Jeff Derek Pipkin, 55, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third-degree domestic battery.

Amy Goode, 30, was arrested and held for continued detention.

Travis Buck, 30, was arrested and held for continued detention,

Emmit Taylor, 50, was arrested and sent to Arkansas Department of Corrections.

Clay James Atkins, 35, was arrested for filing a false police report.

Roger Williams, 55, was arrested for bond revocation.

Jesse Bernard Nash, Jr., 52, was arrested for failure to comply, breaking and entering, theft of property and non-support.
