A Sheridan man died in a motorcycle accident early Sunday morning in Grant County.
According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, 62-year-old Damon Cotton was driving a 2015 Harley-Davidson east on Highway 46 where he “lost control, laid the motorcycle over and was thrown” from the bike.
The report notes the accident happened at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, June 12, at the Saline River bottoms near Lonoke. Weather and road conditions were cloudy and dry, according to Trooper Kevin Hrabal who investigated the accident.
Cotton’s body is being held at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
