Summer reading program sets sail across Clark County

The Clark County Library will be hosting its annual summer reading program June 7 through July 31. This year’s theme is Oceans of Possibility.

Weekly activities will take place in Arkadelphia and Gurdon and there will be monthly activities in Amity.

Arkadelphia (Clark County Library)

Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Storytime (perfect for younger readers)

Wednesdays at 2 p.m.
Music in the Library (Sing and Dance with Riley while learning about the ocean and animals.)

Thursdays at 2 p.m.
Ocean Exploration (stories and crafts for school-aged children)

Fridays at 11 p.m.
Tween Book Club (share what you are reading this summer and listen to an excerpt from books you might not have read before)

Thursday, June 9
Kiwanis Club of Clark County Family Night at the Library with crafts, games, stories and prizes.

Gurdon (Cabe Library)

Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
Storytime (perfect for younger readers)

Thursdays at 2 p.m.
Ocean Exploration (stories and crafts for school-aged children)

Amity (Amity City Hall)

Wednesday, June 8, at 2 p.m.
Storytime and Crafts (all ages)

Wednesday, July 6 at 2 p.m.
Storytime and Crafts (all ages)
