Dispatch Desk: Memorial Day

The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Friday, May 27

10:20 a.m.
A Group Living Inc. employee reported a male suspect had been pilfering through and stealing items from the Beehive donations dock.

10:42 a.m.
A Lark Place man reported the theft of a laptop computer from his apartment.

Clark County Sheriff’s Office

Friday, May 27

2 p.m.
A McDill Drive man reported falling victim to financial identity fraud, the perpetrator purchasing several thousand dollars’ worth of merchandise from Best Buy and possibly using the victim’s Social Security number to apply for and receive credit cards.

Arrests

Friday, May 27

Ezekiel Morgan, 37, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for failure to comply.

David Alan Chunn, 31, was arrested for failure to appear.

Saturday, May 28

Cleetis Sheets, 24, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for third-degree domestic battery.
