At a recent candidate meet and greet hosted by Clark County Farm Bureau, those running for political office were invited to introduce themselves and discuss their platform.
There are two Republicans running in the May primary election for Arkansas House of Representatives District 90 — Richard Womack, the incumbent from Arkadelphia, and Alan Floyd, of Pearcy.

Womack, who is in his sixth term as state representative, said he stands for individual liberty. He touted his voting record on taxes, noting he is one of six Arkansas lawmakers who has never voted for a new tax.
Floyd, a 16-year registered nurse, said he wants to reinstate the American Dream and put God first. Floyd said he lost his job because of the mandated vaccination during the pandemic. He said he also promotes adoption.
