The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Tuesday, March 8

Police opened a felony case of sexual extortion.

Monday, March 7
8:41 a.m.
A woman at the 200 block of North 16th Street reported the theft of a delivered package containing three cans of watermelon-scented Febreeze.

Officers worked two cases of disorderly conduct involving a juvenile.

Tuesday, March 8
12:30 a.m.
Deputies responded to a minor accident on Interstate 30 involving two semis.

5 p.m.
A Meadowlark Drive man reported the theft of a .40-caliber pistol from his home.

Monday, March 7
6:20 a.m.
Deputies responded to a disturbance at Babbit Road, where it was reported a female was attempting to break in; it was learned she was banging at a door of her lover whom she learned had gotten involved with another female. No arrest was made.

Arrests

Tuesday, March 8
Clyde Williams, 47, was arrested for bond revocation.
Kenny Trammel, 64, was sentenced to Arkansas Department of Correction.
Braelyn Beasley, 20, was arrested by Ouachita Baptist University police for criminal trespass.
