Arkadelphia Schools on two-hour delay Thursday

Arkadelphia Public Schools will begin classes two hours late Thursday, Feb. 24.

A district-wide message was broadcast late Wednesday to parents, faculty and staff via text message warning of a potential for freezing rain, with temperatures hovering near the freezing mark.

The school district said it would re-evaluate road conditions Thursday morning and give an update by 7 a.m.

At 10 p.m. Wednesday, both Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist universities were still on regular schedule. Check their respective websites for updates.
