The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Friday, Jan. 21
Officers began a search for a runaway juvenile.

Wednesday, Jan. 19
Police worked a domestic disturbance involving a juvenile.
Police opened a felony case of breaking or entering to a storage building and theft of property.
Police opened a felony case of breaking or entering to a vehicle and theft of property.
Police opened a felony case of theft of property valued between $1,000-$5,000.

12:43 p.m.
Officers took a report of a hit-and-run of a parked vehicle at US Bank, 526 Main St.

6 p.m.
Following an anonymous report of a pitbull that had been running loose on Maple Court, the dog’s owner made contact with officers at their request. He was cited for violating the city’s leash ordinance.

Wednesday, Jan. 19
9 p.m.
Deputies arrested a Denver, Colorado, woman at Southfork Truck Stop for public intoxication following a report of her being under the influence. The arresting deputy had to coax the suspect from a bathroom stall, where she reportedly hid after the law was called.

Arrests

Tuesday, Jan. 18
Hunter Mitchell, 26, was arrested by Caddo Valley police for disorderly conduct.
Thomas Adam Clark, 30, was arrested by Gurdon police for third-degree domestic battery and terroristic threatening.

Wednesday, Jan. 19
Joshua Wesley Rutherford, 39, was arrested for a parole hold.
Elizabeth Ann Walters, 33, was arrested for public intoxication and criminal trespass.

Thursday, Jan. 20
Kristopher Chase Oliver, 25, was arrested for failure to pay child support.
Anthony Bishop Youmans Jr., 27, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to comply, possession of a controlled substance and leaving the scene of an accident.
Shannara Marchell Stevenson, 41, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Frederick Akeem Burns, 31, was arrested for failure to appear, failure to comply and driving with a suspended license.
