The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Arkadelphia Police Department

Tuesday, Nov. 30
Officers responded to a domestic battery report involving a juvenile.

4:03 p.m.
Officers responded to Arkansas Motel, 807 Highway 67 South, for a report of damage to a vehicle. The complainant told police his girlfriend found something “displeasing” on his phone before taking a baseball bat to the sideview mirror. He was advised of affidavit procedures.

Wednesday, Dec. 1
11:30 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence at the 1200 block of Richardson Street for a child custody dispute.

Arrests

Wednesday, Dec. 1
Kortez Smith, 30, was arrested for a warrant.
LaKente Quarles, 39, was arrested for a warrant.
Thomas McGhee, 51, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.

Thursday, Dec. 2
Daniel Churchwell, 26, was arrested for a warrant.
