The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

Sunday, Oct. 24
2:38 p.m.
Officers responded to a Carriage Place residence for a verbal altercation between an unmarried couple.
Saturday, Oct. 23
8:05 p.m.
A hit-and-run accident was reported at 10th and Caddo streets.
Friday, Oct. 22
11:43 p.m.
Police responded to Big Red, 3005 W. Pine St. B, where a non-paying customer refused to leave the parking lot after being asked to do so. The man, who was parked in a space reserved for the disabled, paced around the entrance and made obscene gestures to employees inside prior to the arrival of police, who instructed him to leave and not return.

Sunday, Oct. 24
4:07 p.m.
A clerk at Dillard’s Phillips 66, 1934 Highway 51 North, Gurdon, reported receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown number. The reporting deputy was already at the scene, pumping fuel, when the clerk motioned for him to come inside to hear his complaint.
Saturday, Oct. 23
7 p.m.
A Lansing, Mich., man reported that, as he was traveling westbound on Interstate 30, a vehicle ahead of him, hauling tires, hit a bump, causing a tire to fall from the trailer and strike the front of his rental vehicle.
Arrests
Friday, Oct. 22
John Wright, 64, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for harassment.
Jeremy Green, 35, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Sunday, Oct. 24
Kevin Alvarado, 29, continued detention.
Marlon Landaverde, 19, continued detention.
