ROME, Ga. — Ouachita Baptist University tennis players Francisco Oliveira and Santiago Kearney completed their participation at the ITA Cup on Saturday with a pair of consolation wins.

Oliveira started the day with a singles win in his consolation bracket semifinals, a 7-6(8) and 6-3 victory over Hillsdale University’s Brennan Cimpeanu.

In doubles, Olivera and Kearney beat a pair from LeMoyne College by scores of 6-3 and 6-2.

Only the finals of the championships draws will be played on Sunday.

Up next on the schedule for the Tigers is a trip to Wichita Falls, Texas next weekend, October 22-23, to compete in the Midwestern State University Invitational.
