The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
Arkadelphia Police Department
Sunday, Sept. 26
2:57 p.m.
Officers arrested a Morrilton man at Stuckey’s, 3111 W. Pine St., for disorderly conduct after causing a scene at the convenience station. The man apparently broke the glass out of a female’s car window as she was trying to leave him there. She told police she was transporting the man to Prescott from Little Rock when he became hostile toward her, and she pulled off the interstate to leave him.
Saturday, Sept. 25
6:04 p.m.
Police were summoned to the 1100 block of Haddock Street, where someone had forced open the rear door of a vacant residence. Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
A juvenile was bitten by a dog.
Friday, Sept. 24
9:30 a.m.
A Powder Mill Apartments woman reported observing damage to her vehicle after she washed it. She claimed that a neighbor might have struck it with their car.
5:49 p.m.
A SCAT driver reported that, as she was filling out her end-of-shift paperwork, a colleague behind her grew impatient and pushed her.
Arrests
Saturday, Sept. 25
Joseph Hill, 38, was arrested for failure to appear.
Mechele Skai Singleton, 22, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for a hold for another agency.
Sunday, Sept. 26
Kenneth L. Reed, 38, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for disorderly conduct.
