The Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday, Sept. 22, for G and J Counseling, LLC.

At the grand opening, entrepreneur Cicely Williams, LPC, noted that the clinic offers guidance counseling and grief counseling, with hopes of offering school-based counseling in the near future. The counseling center’s focus is on serving children and adults.

Williams has counseling experience, having worked at Ouachita Baptist University for six years as well as at Arkansas Counseling and Psychodiagnostics.

Practicing at the clinic along with Williams are Hershall Williams, QBHP, and Renee Eason, LAC.

G and J Counseling is located at 2503 Pine St., Suite 2, Arkadelphia, and can be reached by phone at (870) 260-0238.

“I’m proud of Cicely Williams for opening a business that will support and provide help to young people and women,” said Nikki Chandler, executive vice president at Arkadelphia Alliance and Area Chamber of Commerce.
