Clark County GOP to host Sen. John Kennedy at annual Lincoln Day Dinner

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) will present the keynote address at the Clark County Republican Committee’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Thursday, Sept. 9. Many candidates from various Arkansas races in the 2022 election cycle will also be attending.

Among those confirmed are Attorney General Leslie Rutledge and former White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, both hopefuls for the Republican nomination for Arkansas Governor in 2022. Other confirmed candidates include incumbent Senator John Boozman, Jan Morgan, and Jake Bequette, all hopefuls for the Republican nomination for Boozman’s Senate seat in 2022.

Clark County Republican Committee Chairman Eddie Arnold said that seating is currently sold out, but additional seating may be made available soon.

“Clark County has had the largest Lincoln Day Dinner in the state for the past several years, and we expect this year to be the largest ever,” Arnold said. “We are very pleased to host such a Republican powerhouse for our annual dinner. Since his time in the Senate began in 2017, Sen. Kennedy has been a vocal proponent of conservative values in some of our most significant moments. We are looking forward to hearing his address and hosting our state’s candidates in Clark County.”

The dinner will be Thursday, Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Henderson State University Garrison Center Ballroom. Individual tickets are $75, a table for eight is $600, and a table with elite sponsorship and organizational advertising is $750. For more information on tickets or to inquire about involvement with the County Committee, contact Eddie Arnold at (870) 245-6373.
