The Clark County Retired Teachers Association (CCRTA) enjoyed a picnic to kickstart the group’s new year.

Mark White, executive director of the Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, reassured the group that retired teachers’ money is being invested wisely and they will continue to meet the needs for monthly retirement checks.

Bob Thompson, Paul Hankins, and Nick Downey grilled the tasty hamburgers and hot dogs. Glenda Aldridge, CCRTA President, lead the business meeting discussing plans for this year.

It was a beautiful day, and everyone enjoyed visiting and the DeGray Lake area.
