There are two candidates running for Clark County Clerk — Tracy Rider, a justice of the peace running as a Republican, and Tina Johnson, chief deputy clerk running as a Democrat. This contest will be decided in the general election in November.

A longtime Arkadelphia resident, Rider spent 25 years in banking and office management prior to the opening of The Farmhouse in downtown. She also has served one year as District 5 Justice of the Peace on the Clark County Quorum Court.
