Marilyn Kay (McClain) Baker, age 64, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her home. She was born on June 6, 1962, in Benton, the daughter of the late Charlie and Pearl Chaney McClain.
Marilyn was a 1980 graduate of Benton High School. She enjoyed crafting, bird watching, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Audrey McClain Crouch.
Survivors are two children, Tiffany Hammonds (Justin) of Gurdon and Rochelle Baker of Gurdon, one brother, Kirby McClain of Arkansas, one sister, Sharon McClain of Texas, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Calvary United Pentecostal Church in Gurdon with Pastor Woody Whittingham officiating.
