Dorothy Fay Cox, age 79, of Ward, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at her home. She was born May 8, 1947, in Malvern, the daughter of the late Dal Franklin and Melissa Nutt Ipock.
Dorothy worked for Bowens, Scroll and Mike’s Painting Co during her career. She enjoyed yard work and gardening in her free time.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lynn Cox.
Survivors are two sons, Mark Schales (Kim) of Chidester and Mike Schales (Nikki) of Ward, her twin brother, Don Ipock of Benton and her brother, Larry Ipock (Nancy) of Sheridan, two sisters, Mary Draper and Linda Catlett both of Hot Springs, and several grandchildren that loved her dearly.
Private graveside services were held at DeGray Cemetery.
Dorothy’s family will serve as pallbearers.
