Charles Dean Mitchell, age 82, of the Graysonia community, passed from this life on Wednesday July 1, 2026, at his home. He was born on January 6, 1944, in Little Rock, the son of the late George and Pearla Mitchell.
Charles was a 1962 graduate of Sheridan High School. He worked as a sheet metal technician at Middleton Heat and Air for many years. Charles enjoyed singing and collecting arrowheads in his free time.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Charles is survived by his wife, Doris Mitchell, one son, Sidney Mitchell of Seattle, Washington, one daughter, Jena Allen (David) of Benton, four grandchildren, Kaia Cardenas of Little Rock, Gracie Shelton of Texas, Chloe Allen of Conway, and Bailey Allen (Alida) of Benton.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
