Not What I Ordered: Comedian Matt Mathews 2026 tour includes Hot Springs performance

Coming Nov. 21, 2026, comedian Matt Mathews is bringing his Not What I Ordered world tour to Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Mathews, an Alabama-born storyteller known for his sharp Southern wit, LGBTQ+ perspective, and heartfelt honesty, will perform at the Oaklawn Event Center, which touts the comedian as a brutally honest funnyman.

“Life rarely turns out the way we planned — and nobody knows that better than Matt Mathews,” Oaklawn’s events page notes. “Matt brings his unfiltered stories, wild family chaos, farm life disasters, relationships, fame and everyday struggles to the stage with the brutally honest humor fans love him for.”

Mathews proves that sometimes the best moments in life come from everything going completely off the rails — from awkward encounters and small-town drama to the reality of chasing dreams while trying to hold it all together.

Mathews’ performance is billed as equal parts hilarious, heartfelt and outrageously relatable, and promises a night of comedy that reminds us life may not give you what you expected … but it’ll definitely give you something to laugh about.
