This is your captain speaking: The City of Arkadelphia will host its second annual Aviation Expo on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Arkadelphia Municipal Airport.
Beginning at 9 a.m., residents and visitors will have the opportunity to experience the dynamic world of aviation firsthand, right in their own backyard. This year’s event will introduce several new attractions, including performances by a professional skydiving team and a flight formation demonstration.
Arkadelphia’s Aviation Expo will conclude at noon.
“We could not be more excited about this year’s new attractions,” said Special Events Manager Halle Mann. “Both are Arkansas-based and help us highlight the many opportunities aviation offers, especially for our young people.”
The event will open with a performance by the Paradise Valley Skydiving team, followed by a student flight exhibition featuring participants from the Arkansas Aviation Academy at Henderson State University, Ozarka College, and the University of Central Arkansas. After the first round of exhibitions, the Bulldog Flight Formation Team will perform, followed by a second round of student demonstrations.
In addition to aerial demonstrations, the Aviation Expo will include a variety of food trucks, bounce houses, and family-friendly activities. Parking will be available at the Clark County Fairgrounds, with shuttle service running every 7-10 minutes to and from the airport.
Admission to Arkadelphia’s Aviation Expo is free. Follow the city’s social media channels at @arkadelphiaar for the latest news and updates.
