Wilma Gail Morrison, age 76, of Friendship, passed from this life on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at her home. She was born July 8, 1949, in Fort Smith, the daughter of the late Foreman Belton “Belt” Barrong and Lizzie Hurst Barrong.
Wilma was a 1967 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. Wilma enjoyed working in her yard, flowers and most of all spending time with her great grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles Barrong, three sisters, Bettye Roseberry, Muriel Collins and Shirley Barrong.
Survivors are her husband of fifty-nine years, Paul Wayne Morrison of Friendship, two daughters, Kim Dobbs of Pensacola, FL and Tonya Morrison of Friendship, three grandchildren, Dustin Burnett of Friendship, Courtney Blair of Fairbanks, AK and Gina Anthony of Hot Springs, eight great-grandchildren, Sophia Burnett, Aubrey Burnett, Grayson Burnett, Jackson Burnett, Hannah Blair, Olivia Blair, Roman Anthony and Austin Blair.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Gilchrist Cemetery at Friendship with Bro. Dwight Craig and Bro. Larry Bloomfield officiating.
Visitation will be at Gilchrist Cemetery immediately following the service.
Pallbearers are Andy Neel, Pee Wee Strother, Jr., Jason Abernathy, Kevin Anthony, Daniel Cannon, Jody Morrison and Brian McDaniel.
Honorary pallbearers are the dedicated care givers, Kim Spradlin, Casey Lea, RN, and the Hospice Home Care Team.
