Wilma Jean Fisher, 87, of Arkadelphia, AR, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at The Plaza at Twin Rivers in Arkadelphia, AR.
Mrs. Fisher was born November 14, 1938, in Obion County, Tennessee, to the late V.D. and Jaski Brewer. She was a member of Walnut Baptist Church in Jonesboro, AR, and retired from Nettleton Public Schools after 25 years of service. A wonderful mother to four children, she loved to cook, garden, and spend time at the lake.
Wilma is survived by two daughters, Anna Wade (Randy) of Arkadelphia, AR, and Theresa Varughese of The Woodlands, TX; and two sons, James Hatley (Betty) of Jonesboro, AR, and Michael Hatley (Hope) of Prescott, AR. She also leaves behind ten grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Arkadelphia, AR, with Pastor Richard Price officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Wyatt, Seth Varughese, Nicholas Wade, Ryan Wade, and Gavin Hatley.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
