Rosemary Joyce Francis, age 83, of Curtis, passed from this life on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia. She was born December 4, 1942, in Malvern, the daughter of the late James Bolin and Rosie Burris Hughes.
Joyce was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Arkadelphia. She enjoyed reading and watching Hallmark movies in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of sixty-nine years, Benny Francis, two brothers, Clyde and JR Hughes, and two sisters, Florece Rogers and Willie Rogers.
Survivors are two sons, Scott Francis (Tammy) of Gurdon and Ronnie Francis (Debbie) of Arkadelphia, two grandchildren, Amanda Holland (Robbie) and Daniel Francis (Ashlee), five great-grandchildren, Ellie Francis, Easton Francis, Bobby Holland and Spencer Holland, one sister, Brenda “Katie” Jones of Hurst, TX, one brother, Lyndal Hughes (Nettie) of Malvern and a special family, Trent Hughes, McKenzie Hughes, Clifton and Becky Hughes.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, February,18, 2026, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro Nathan Rogers and Bro. Keith Pennington officiating.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Phillip Jester, Darren Campbell, Bobby Holland, Spencer Holland, Daniel Francis and Trent Hughes.
