Celebrations honoring the late Civil Rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. are set for Arkadelphia on Monday, Jan. 19, 2026.
There will be a chili supper starting at 11:30 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 307 N. 16th St. Arkadelphia’s city sanitation employees will be honored at this supper.
The annual MLK parade will start at 2 p.m. from the church to the Clark County Courthouse Square/Gazebo. There, the featured speaker of the event will be Pastor Zeke Allen of Arkadelphia First United Methodist Church.
The public is encouraged to attend all events.
