LITTLE ROCK — State officials have announced the arrest of a South Arkansas man accused of having child pornography.
Mark Allen Cagle, 62, of Grant County, was arrested on 20 felony counts of distributing, possessing, or viewing matter depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a minor. Agents with the Special Investigations Division of the Arkansas Attorney General’s Office made the arrest Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025.
Cagle’s arrest was the result of a cybertip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and subsequent search warrant served on Cagle’s residence on Nov. 4. Authorities seized an unlisted amount of evidence from Cagle’s home for forensic examination, according to a news release from the AG’s office. The arrest was made following the forensic examination and after police obtained a warrant, the AG’s office said.
Cagle was booked into the Sheridan Detention Center, where he was held on a $500,000 bond.
“I am thankful for the tip from NCMEC that led to this arrest and for the valuable assistance of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office in this case,” Arkansas AG Tim Griffin said. “My office will not waver in its commitment to bringing these perpetrators to justice and protecting our most vulnerable population.”
