The City of Arkadelphia’s Sanitation Department will host its semiannual trash bag pickup event at the Recreation Center from December 17 to 19, 2025.
The drive-thru style event will begin on Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Recreation Center, 2555 Twin Rivers Dr. Pickup will be daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The semiannual event will end at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19.
Residents who do not attend the pickup event at the Recreation Center will have six weeks to visit the Sanitation Department to pick up their free trash bags. The Sanitation Department is located at 267 Hemphill Road in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. The department is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The December voucher will expire on Jan. 30, 2026.
Residents can purchase trash bags from the Sanitation Department year-round. Trash bags can be purchased at the Sanitation Department for $10.
