ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas — Two men were arrested early Friday morning after a multi-agency raid on a home in the University Heights subdivision.

At approximately 7 a.m. on Dec. 5, 2025, officers with the Group 6 Drug Task Force, in cooperation with Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at 1257 Richardson St. in Arkadelphia.

During execution of the search warrant, officers found more than 4 pounds of marijuana, more than 150 THC vapes, baggies, digital scales and assorted drug paraphernalia. Additionally, officers seized multiple weapons including a mini-Draco 7.62 semi-automatic pistol; a Glock 43x semi-automatic pistol, an AT Alpha Maxx 5.56mm semi-automatic firearm, an FN model FNS-9 9mm handgun and a Glock 19x 9mm semi-automatic pistol along with more than 450 rounds of ammunition.

Following execution of the search warrant, officers arrested Darius Austin, 26, and Jalon Frazier, 22.

The warrant was obtained following the investigation of allegations of drug sales from the location by Drug Task Force officers. At this time, the investigation into this matter is ongoing. Arrests and criminal charges are merely accusations. Individuals charged with offenses are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Arkadelphia Police Chief Jason Jackson and Clark County Sheriff Jason Watson released the following joint statement: “We greatly appreciate the work of the agents investigating this case and the work performed by Group 6 Drug Task Force. Additionally, we are thankful for the relationships we have with our other law enforcement agencies in Clark County as well as neighboring jurisdictions as we combat the illegal distribution of drugs. It is especially dangerous in cases such as this in which there is the combination of multiple firearms and drugs together. This poses a threat and danger to the public and officers involved and cannot be tolerated.”

Formal charges will be determined by prosecuting attorney Dan Turner with future court dates to be set after first appearances are held for each of the individuals charged.
