The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Nov. 24
7:50 a.m.
A Summit Utilities employee reported that a city sanitation driver, hauling a Dumpster, struck the security gate at the utility’s South 6th Street office. A sensor was broken in the scrape.

Juvenile report: Resisting arrest

Tuesday, Nov. 25
4 p.m.
An officer took a report of employee theft at Tiger Mart, 203 N. 10th St. A manager provided security footage showing the suspect employee stealing money from the cash register and safe. The stolen greenbacks amounted to an estimated $350. The manager was advised of warrant procedures.

Wednesday, Nov. 26
3:35 p.m.
A resident of Ouachita Village Apartments, 11 Cypress Road, reported that his brother refused to return a CashApp card he had possession of while the complainant was incarcerated. An officer spoke with the brother, who denied possessing the card and suspected that his sibling sold it for drugs.

12:36 p.m.
A North 15th Street woman reported someone slashed a tire on her car.

Friday, Nov. 28

Felony incident still under investigation: Domestic battery 3rd degree, 1100 block of Pine Street

Saturday, Nov. 29

Management at Bumper to Bumper, 110 S. 6th St., reported vandalism to the auto parts store’s trash bin overnight. It appeared that the vandal had removed the pin that held the lid in place. Nothing appeared to have been added or removed from the bin.

Juvenile report: Welfare concern

Sunday, Nov. 30

An officer responded to a  suicide attempt. The person received medical treatment at the scene and was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
