Lula Ivy, age 86, of Leola, passed from this life on November 12, 2025, at Nightengale Nursing Home in Arkadelphia. She was born on October 25, 1939, in Delight the daughter of the late Dudley and Lalah Ross Lee.
Lula worked at Levi Strauss, Oberman’s and Aalfs for many years. She is a member of Old Field Missionary Babtist Church. Lula enjoyed tending to her plants, gardening, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Dorothy Whitten and Gertude Echols, and three brothers, Glen Lee, Joe Lee, and James Lee.
Lula is survived by her husband Cleo Ivy of Leola, one son, Vance Buck (Debbie) of Amity, one daughter, Janice Buck of Amity, two brothers, Robert Lee of Lubbock, TX, and Don Lee of Arkadelphia, three sisters, Ruth Smith of Arkadelphia, Gladys Pennington of Geneva, IN, and Ann Lofton of Hot Springs, three grandchildren, Vanessa Bateman (Billy), Crystal Smith (Chris), and Zach Buck (Keeli), and eight great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday November 17, 2025, at Alpine Cemetery with Bro Johnny McAnally officiating.
Visitation is from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Sunday November 16, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Zach Buck, Justin Chancellor, Jamey Daniell, Riley Daniell, Andrew Bateman, and Vance Buck.
Honorary pallbearers are her great-grandchildren and the staff of Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.
