James Tracy Cox, age 61, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday September 1st, 2025, at his home. He was born on November 9, 1963, in Pocahontas, AR, the son of the late Howard and Winnie Evans Cox.
Tracy was a 1980 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. He was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. Tracy enjoyed reading, duck hunting, western movies, farming, baseball, and ice cream.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Terry Cox, and Russell Cox, and one niece, Lindsey Myers.
Survivors are his wife, Charlotte Taylor Cox, two sisters, Rebecca Downey (Patrick) of Arkadelphia, and Beverly Myers (Kenny) of Arkadelphia, sister-in-law, Debbie Cox of Arkadelphia, many nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday September 5, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro Zeke Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time.
Memorials can be made to American Cancer Society, Lighthouse Ministries, or Clark County Humane Society.
