Bonnie Dillard

Bonnie Fray Smith Dillard, age 61, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at National Park Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was born July 30, 1963, in Clinton, OK, the daughter of Carol Wayne and Frances Allene Carter Brown, Sr.  

Bonnie was a graduate of Gurdon High School and attended Henderson State University.  She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.  

Bonnie was preceded in death by her father, Carrol Wayne Brown, Sr., her brother, Carrol Wayne Brown, Jr., and her husband, Mackey Dillard.

Survivors are her mother and step-father, Frances and Calvin Winningham of Jacksonville, one son, Jonathan Smith of Arkadelphia, three daughters, Jennifer Conway of Copperas Cove, TX, Jessica Burdue (Johnathan) of Gurdon and Jerrica Thomas (Philip) of Gurdon, two sisters, Diana Ross of Little Rock and Beth Lane (Timmy) of Gurdon, nine grandchildren, Kolby, Kennedy and Jax Conway, Zade and Kyler Benedict, Kahne and Kale Smith, Emily and Taylor Burdue, and one great-grandchild, Vinnie Castiglia.

A visitation will be held at Welch Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday evening, July 31, 2025.
