The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, June 30
6:54 p.m.
An officer took a report from a woman of verbal threats that had been made by another female. She was advised that her residence would be placed on extra patrol and encouraged to follow up with the prosecutor’s office for a no contact order.
Tuesday, July 1
4:43 a.m.
Officers were called to a residence at the 1200 block of Cutler Street for a report of a strange vehicle parked in front of a neighbor’s house, with someone asleep in the driver’s seat. An officer knocked on the vehicle window to rouse the stranger awake. The occupant awoke, startled, and began punching the window but soon calmed and rolled down his window. The officer saw that the person, identified as Stephen Frank Suitor, 69, of Prescott, was stark naked. Suitor was allowed to clothe himself before stepping out of the vehicle. Suitor said he was unaware of how he got there or why he was naked, but did relay that his wife had struck him in the head with a faucet. Due to possible brain injury, an ambulance was called to the scene for transport to the hospital. Suitor gave police his vehicle key so it could be moved from the driveway. While retrieving the key a potential meth pipe was located inside a glasses case in his shorts. An officer followed the ambulance to the hospital, where Suitor was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and left in the care of hospital staff.
11:34 a.m.
Management at Celebrations Fine Wine & Spirits, 1210 N. 10th St., reported a known female shoplifted a half-gallon of apple-flavored Crown Royal whisky, which she concealed in a large bag and exited the store. Police advised of warrant procedures.

Wednesday, July 2
12:23 p.m.
Police were summoned to the 1000 block of Main Street when a caller advised of a female high on some type of drug acting erratically and refusing to leave. An officer spoke with the female, identified as Hannah Dell Green, 31, of Arkadelphia. Green was advised she had to leave the property and was offered a courtesy transport to Caddo Valley, where she was wanting to go, but she denied the ride. Advised she was under arrest for criminal trespass, Green jerked away from officers. Officer Aaron Abbott was able to take Green to the ground in order to place her in custody. Green was transported to the county jail, where a search of her person revealed two glass pipes. She was cited for criminal trespass, resisting arrest, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:35 p.m.
Officers were called to Twin Rivers Health & Rehab, 3021 Twin Rivers Dr., for a report by the administrator that a male CNA had gotten too rough with a resident. At the time of the complaint the CNA had been suspended pending further investigation. The resident did not wish to speak with law enforcement.

3:09 a.m.
Officers were called to the 1200 block of Cutler Street for a domestic disturbance, responding to find two females engaged in a verbal altercation on the front porch of a residence. After taking statements from both parties and observing injuries on one lady’s face, police arrested Amber Atiamarie Collins, 31, for third-degree domestic battery.
10:41 a.m.
Police were called to Dollar General, 2727 Caddo St., where management reported a female shoplifter had placed merchandise in her purse as she exited the store. Lindsey Nicole Trejo, 30, of Caddo Valley, was cited on scene for theft of property.

1:15 a.m.
Management at Foundation Fitness turned in a set of headphones that had been left on exercise equipment earlier this year and had gone unclaimed despite the gym’s attempts to put them on the front counter. The headphones were placed in the police department’s lost and found in the event the rightful owner should be looking for them.
2:42 a.m.
Officers responded to a welfare concern at the 200 block of North 23rd Street. One person was transported by ambulance to the hospital for treatment.

6 p.m.
A deputy was called to a Francis Road residence for a domestic disturbance between relatives. After speaking with both parties and observing injuries on a female, Jeremy Wilhelm Gutzler, 45, was arrested for third-degree domestic battery.
