CADDO VALLEY, Arkansas — A Tennessee man died late Thursday in an Arkadelphia hospital after collapsing during a corn hole tournament at Betty’s Big Country Dance Hall, 102 Crystal Palace Dr.
Medics were called just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, to a report of a bar patron who had collapsed and was being given life-saving CPR when 911 was called.
He was transported to Baptist Health Medical Center-Arkadelphia, where he later died.
Clark County’s sheriff said the patron — a 56-year-old male from Tennessee with a history of health issues — fell out and hit his head during a game of corn hole.
