Terry Dewayne Thomason, age 70, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Sunday May 11, 2025, at CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs. He was born on June 21, 1954, in Arkadelphia the son of the late Herschel Franklin and Mae Watkins Thomason.
Terry was a 1971 graduate of Arkadelphia High School and a 1974 graduate of Henderson State Teachers College. He spent many years as a business owner, livestock farmer, and licensed Funeral Director at Welch Funeral Home. In recent years he worked for the Bismarck School District as the ISS Supervisor. Terry was a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church, a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Arkadelphia Lodge #381. He enjoyed model trains and watching Arkansas Razorback sports in his free time.
Terry is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Frank Thomason.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-one years, Sherry Bray Thomason of Bismarck, one sister, Felica Hardage (Terry) of Bismarck, and a special friend, Sara Janis of Bismarck.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday May 16, 2025, at Deroche Cemetery in Bismarck with Bro. Ralph Ruffin officiating.
No visitation is planned.
