The City of Arkadelphia issued 15 building permits with a total estimated construction value of $381,546 for the month of April 2025.
The year-to-date value of construction jobs in Arkadelphia now totals an estimated $2.55 million.
Records were obtained from the city’s Building Department under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and include valuations of work except where omitted from reports. Here’s a rundown of permits issued in April 2025:
The Arkadelphia Housing Authority is upgrading Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St. The AHA hired Rhett Womack Premium Painting, of Arkadelphia, for the job, which includes upgrades to electrical systems, installation of water heaters, replacing of HVAC systems and ductwork, and patching/painting. The work comes with a $124,000 price tag.
T-Mobile hired the North Little Rock-based Pinnacle Signs for the installation of a new sign at the Arkadelphia Plaza storefront, 112 W.P. Malone Dr. Suite K. The job costs $4,000.
The addition of 40 feet of interior walls and three interior doors is a $2,000 job for an unlisted contractor hired to perform the work at Healthy Connections, 301 Professional Park Dr.
There were seven permits filed in April for roof replacements, likely due to the April 4-6 storms; there had been a total of seven roofing permits filed during the first three months of 2025.
