Two Arkansas lottery players recently won their biggest prizes yet playing the same instant game.

C. Jones of Columbia County, won $50,000 by playing the $50,000 Frenzy instant game. He claimed his prize on April 28.

The winning ticket was sold at Discount Tobacco #3, 3214 N. West Ave. in El Dorado.

Jones bought the winning $50,000 Frenzy ticket on a whim. The Columbia County man rarely plays lottery games, and on the occasion that he does, he prefers $5 and $10 games. This time, however, he decided to take a chance on a new game.

“The $20 ticket was just calling my name,” Jones told lottery officials. The Arkansan followed his intuition and, lucky for him, won the instant game’s $50,000 top prize.

Excited, Jones plans to save his winnings. So far, he has only shared the good news with his close family.

Another winner, Greg Jones, a Plumerville resident, won $50,000 playing $50,000 Frenzy, a $20 scratch-off game. He claimed his prize at the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) Claim Center on April 28.

The winning ticket was sold at Tobacco Corner Plus North, 1512 E. Harding St. in Morrilton.

Greg was running errands when he decided to purchase his winning ticket. A frequent lottery player, the Plumerville man selected a $50,000 Frenzy scratch-off game. Having previously won two $500 prizes on the ticket, he wanted to try his luck once more.

“Frenzy’s been good to me,” Greg told lottery officials. Greg scratched his ticket in the retailer’s parking lot. To his shock, the very first row of his ticket landed him one of the instant game’s $50,000 top prizes. In disbelief, he FaceTimed his wife to show her the ticket.

“Is this what I think it is?” Greg asked.

“That can’t be real!” she responded.

Despite their shock, Greg had indeed won the $50,000 prize. Aside from his wife, he shared the good news with one other person—a lottery-playing friend who immediately celebrated the win—before heading to the ASL Claim Center to collect his prize.

“I’m just so pumped,” he said.

The Arkansan plans to go on vacation with his winnings.

Fifty top prizes worth $50,000 each remain on $50,000 Frenzy.
