Up to 2 inches of rain could accumulate for the Arkadelphia area during mid-week, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock.
Rainfall will become possible Tuesday afternoon, April 29, 2025 as the next system begins to move into Arkansas and linger through Thursday.
Wednesday is expected to be the rainiest day of the week, with portions of the state seeing between 1-2 inches of rain. Additionally, the chance for strong to severe storms will be possible on Tuesday and Wednesday. The rainfall is expected to wrap up late Thursday into Friday morning.
A rainfall forecast table predicts 1.75 inches of rain for Arkadelphia through Thursday.
The extended forecast for Arkadelphia calls for a 30% chance of rain starting Wednesday afternoon, with chances increasing to 80% Wednesday night and some storms capable of producing heavy rainfall. Precipitation should linger into Thursday, with chances decreasing as the day progresses.
Daytime highs this week will fall from the mid 80s to the lower 80s as the rain moves through the area, with nighttime lows in the 60s falling to the high 50s by Thursday.
