Bertha Geneva McClure, age 88, of Gum Springs, passed from this life on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at her home. She was born on August 14, 1936, in Vaden, the daughter of the late Willie and Coy Warren Walters.
Bertha was a member of the First Assembly of God in Arkadelphia. She enjoyed working puzzles and reading her bible.
Bertha is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orvil McClure, two daughters, Diane Harper and Tammy McClure, one great granddaughter, Andrea Williams, three brothers and seven sisters.
Survivors are four daughters, Carline Rogers (Nathan) of Gum Springs, Linda Lane (Benny) of Prescott, Shirley Williams (Rodney) of Gum Springs, Patty Cordell (Larry) of Bauxite, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 18, 2025, at First Assembly of God in Arkadelphia with Bro. Nathan Rogers officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the church.
Interment will be at Easley Cemetery.
