Donna Burrow

Donna Buck Coon Burrow, age 82, of Arkadelphia, AR; passed from this life on Friday, March 14, 2025; in respite care at Twin Rivers Health & Rehab – Arkadelphia, AR. Donna was born February 1, 1943, in the Central Community outside of Arkadelphia, the daughter of Edward W. and Pearl Childress Buck.

She graduated Arkadelphia High School in 1960. She worked at the Sterling Store; the Soil Conservation Service/Clark Co. Conservation District; and the USDA Farm Service Agency – Clark Co., AR, from which she retired. A member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Donna sang soprano in the church choir for many years.  Donna enjoyed reading Bible devotionals, playing Rook and any word game, gardening, shopping, traveling, camping, dining out with friends and family, watching gameshows, and being Nonna. 

Those preceding her in death include: her first husband, Jackie Joel Coon; her brothers, Laymon Buck and Ydell Buck; her twin sister, Wanda Buck; her sister, Madge Buck Nichols; and several sisters- and brothers-in-law.

Survivors are: Chuck Burrow, husband; son, Mark Coon (Jenny), and daughter, Amanda Coon Karber (Allen); grandsons, Jacob Frazier Coon (Brittany) and Judsen Joel Coon; and a great-granddaughter to be born to Brittany and Jacob Coon in July 2025, all of Arkadelphia. She is also survived by Chuck’s children: DeeDee Diggs (Larry), Eddie Burrow (Leda), and Tony Burrow (Jennifer), and their children and grandchildren. 

Donna is survived also by numerous family and friends.  Amanda and Mark wish to publicly express their gratitude and appreciation for Chuck for his outstanding loving care of and for their mother during her extended health issues, particularly during the last several months by making it possible for her to remain in the comfort of her own home, up until one day before her death.

Services were held Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. Burial was in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Arkadelphia.
