Jennifer Cooper

Jennifer Cooper, age 43, of Gurdon, went to meet her Lord on Thursday, March 6, 2025.  The family is deeply saddened by her unexpected passing.  She was born January 5, 1982 and graduated from Gurdon High School in 2000.

Jennifer had many professions throughout her life but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her kids, playing and taking them on fun adventures.  Jennifer had a gift of bringing laughter to all she was around.  She will be missed by many.

Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, JB and Jean Martin, Cynthia Roberts, Charles Kuhn and a stepbrother, Blake Daniels.

Survivors are her two children, Claire and Dylan Cooper of Gurdon, her parents, Barbara Frazier, Joe and Debbie Kuhn, all of Gurdon, her fiancé, Drake Edington of Arkadelphia, one brother, Jon Jester (Jill) of Gurdon, one nephew, Jonah and one niece, Jaysa, to whom she was lovingly known as “Juju”. She is also survived by special aunts and uncles, Jimmy Martin (Tonya), Randy Kuhn (Sherry) all of Gurdon, Leslie Taylor of Prescott and Terri Ferguson of Horseshoe Bay, Texas. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Beech Street Baptist Church with Bro. David Graves officiating.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at Welch Funeral Home.

Interment will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Clark County Humane Society, P.O. Box 435, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.

Pallbearers are Jon Jester, Jonah Jester, Darrin Cooper, Jimmy Helton, Jay Smithpeters and Randy Kuhn.
